Privacy Policy

What we collect. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, and time zone. As you use Renley, we store the information you choose to enter: referral contact names, a short context line, and dates such as when a meeting is booked. If you turn on push notifications, we store the notification address your browser provides. We also collect basic technical data needed to run the service, such as login activity.

What we never collect. Renley holds no client financial account data. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or payment card information during the beta.

How we use it. We use your information only to provide the service: creating reminders and calendar events, sending you push notifications if you turn them on, structuring the notes you enter using automated processing, supporting you, and improving the product. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with. We share data only with the service providers that run Renley: our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud, running on Supabase), our automated processing provider (Anthropic, whose API does not use our inputs to train models), our feedback form provider (Formspree, which receives only the name, email, and message you submit), and the push notification relays operated by Apple and Google, which receive only encrypted notification content they cannot read. Each processes data only to provide their service to us. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Push notifications. Push notifications are optional and go only to your own device. Renley never sends notifications, texts, or emails to your clients or your referrals. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device or browser settings.

Security. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. All reads and writes run through server-side functions restricted to your own records; the browser never queries the database directly. If we learn of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you by email within 72 hours.

Retention and deletion. We keep your data while your account is active. Email us at any time to request deletion or a copy of your data. Deletion requests are completed within 7 business days and confirmed by email. When an account is closed, its data is deleted 30 days after closure unless you ask us to delete it sooner or request a copy first. Copies held in routine backups are removed on the backup provider's normal schedule.

Children. Renley is for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes. If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
